About me

I am an empowered and confident neurodivergent, highly sensitive, proud weirdo, who is here to support you during your most difficult and vulnerable times.

Having gone through and continually going through my own healing journey, I have a strong understanding of how intimidating, painful, and also worth it, psychotherapy and the healing process can be.ย

From a young age, I felt like the outcast of my family, friends, and society, and struggled emotionally, interpersonally, and academically.

Around the age of 12, I was diagnosed with ADHD, General Anxiety Disorder (GAD), and Learning Disabilities. Though the labels were difficult to digest, accept, and adjust to at first, they were eventually incredibly helpful, and validating for me.

They helped me realize that I was not simply โ€œstupidโ€, but rather beautifully neurodivergent, meaning I have a brain that both functions and is structured differently than a neurotypical brain. And who, as a result, has different needs, abilities and skills.

With tremendous effort and consistent support from my family, friends, therapists, and amazing high school teachers, I graduated from high school, and went on to graduate from post-secondary school, from the University of Guelph. I then completed a graduate program in Spiritual Psychotherapy, at The Transformational Arts College (TAC), in Toronto.

I have been a practicing Psychotherapist since 2016, and am now officially a Registered Psychotherapist, Qualifying, RP(Q). I can honestly say that I love what I do and am grateful for every minute that I get to spend working as a therapist, and supporting people in their healing journeys.

I am committed to creating an open, authentic, warm, non-judgemental, humorous, honest, sex-positive, validating, and inclusive healing space for all people, from all backgrounds. As well as building a trusting, supportive, and strong therapeutic alliance with you, where you feel (emotionally) held and safe to reflect, process, release, and do some deep healing.

I would love to work in partnership with you, and to help guide and encourage you in your journey of growth, healing, and creating the life you want to live.

Iโ€™d love to connect – please reach out to schedule a free 20-ish minute consult with me.
